Mood Board

I love the catepillar from Alice in wonderland, these shoes are so cute! ☮ I cant get enough of tea at the mo & am making it my mission to try almost every kind I can find.. I also learnt how to make turkish coffee and have a mini obsession with not only the drink but the teeny tiny cups they come in.☮ I really want a dashiki.. I have no idea how I would wear it but I just love the prints. ☮ Obviously the flatforms are big at the mo, I find them quite hit & miss but these Marc Jacob ones are toooo cute. ☮ Had a blast from the past googling Kelly Kapowski & Lisa Turtle - Their outfits excite me I want their wardrobes! ☮ Finally I looooooooove these shoes !! I need a pair now.

getting there..

So I've started to have a go at sewing, dress making etc & I think I'm starting to get there slowly but surely.. So far I've managed to edit 2 garments..
These were high waisted polazzo pants from Primark, but with the inspiration/help from Fabi's blog I managed to make them into cute shorts for the spring yaaay.

This dress was made from a paisley maxi dress from Newlook and a pink vest top from Topshop, its pretty basic I just made an elasticated skirt out of the dress and sewed the skirt to the top. I'm not advanced enough to do much else, one day...

Although it was only basics I really enjoyed making these two so I'm gonna keep practicing and see what i come up with, i also made a beautiful necklace from the leftover fabric of the maxi dress but i don't have a picture at the moment so that will be another post, another time. I love getting arty :D.

I'm trying my hardest to express my fashion more (in the winter its almost impossible to get me out of my hoodie and sweats) and so this i give you step one. i personally love this outfit, well I'm not too keen on the boots but at least i tried.

F*ck a sleeve i need me a Jumper

Tattoos have worryingly become more of a fashion statement in this day and age & although Ive always had a thing for them i cant help but jump on the bandwagon. Theres so many different designs i want! But should a tattoo be a symbol of something personal/special or can it be purely for fashion? What if fashion is your passion? Some people (like my mum) are terrified of the idea based on the fact that its there for life but i see it as showing growth (your tastes may change or you may have always had the same feeling about something thats so stong its lifelong. I see tattoos as neither a fashon statement or a symbol of something meaningful, but an art form, which basically sums up both.

Im inlove with Rhianna's ink myself. I stole
these pics from FO SHIZZLE They were
so sexy I couldnt help myself...

I really like that she has loads of small random ones as I want a few random ones myself.

I would love to be a tattoo artist but I cant seem to get into it.

I also like attempting to draw my own and although i need more practice, some im considering for myself. I designed my grans too i always forget that achievement. I'd love to be a tattoist or a DJ but I always get distracted and cant afford to get art college behind me. Anywhooo put your violins away, heres what I came up with...
Some are copied some are my own designs, theyre all just brainstorms I need to spend more time on it..
